Capacities for environmental labs with high sample throughput.

We configure and deliver instruments and reagents for the workflow from received sample to accredited analytical result, sample preparation, climate-controlled sample handling, and consumables for subsequent ICP, AAS, and related analyses.

    Sample preparation for environmental samples

Microwave digestion for difficult-to-digest samples and fusion digestion for matrices requiring high-temperature digestion. Prepares water, soil, sediment, and sludge samples for subsequent ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and AAS analysis. Reproducible sample preparation with traceable documentation according to accreditation requirements.

    Climate technology for test methods

Climate chambers, incubators, and drying ovens for method-flexible sample storage and defined thermal pre-treatment. For environmental testing where the sample requires controlled temperature, humidity, or time before analysis.

    Reagents and reference materials

Consumables, reagents, and certified reference materials for accredited analysis. Consistent supply chain for laboratories with high sample throughput, where each analysis session requires known reagent quality and traceable documentation.

    Manufacturer for the industry.

For environmental labs, we work with several manufacturers who together cover the workflow: sample preparation, climate technology, reagents and reference materials, and dedicated lab analysis of halogens, sulfur, nitrogen, and mercury. All have an installed base in Nordic industry and environmental analysis.

    Preekem

Manufacturer of microwave digestion systems for analytical laboratories. We distribute the Preekem portfolio in the Nordics for the preparation of environmental samples, soil and sediment samples, and biological matrices where traditional digestion methods are time-consuming or incomplete.

    Environmental Express Katanax

Fusion digestion specialist. Katanax systems are used for the digestion of matrices that do not allow direct instrumental analysis, including difficult-to-digest environmental samples and composite materials.

    Memmert

German manufacturer of climate technology for analytical laboratories. We distribute the Memmert portfolio for climate chambers, incubators, and drying ovens in environmental labs where sample storage and thermal pre-treatment require controlled conditions.

    AnalytiChem

Manufacturer of reagents, chemicals and certified reference materials for analytical laboratories. We distribute the AnalytiChem portfolio in the Nordics for accredited laboratories with high sample throughput.

    Nittoseiko

Japanese manufacturer of laboratory instruments for the analysis of halogens (including organic chlorine and fluorine), sulphur and nitrogen, and titration equipment. Essential in environmental laboratories where halogenated contaminants and nutrients must be quantified with traceability. The instruments are for laboratory use, not online.

    NIC

Nippon Instruments Corporation manufactures dedicated instruments for the determination of mercury in water, soil, sediment, biota, and air. Central to environmental labs where low detection levels and traceable calibration are required for reporting.

    Standards and reference methods.

Measurements for accredited environmental analysis must be traceable to established standards. For sample preparation, ICP analysis, and reporting, we work with reference methods that your accreditation body, your customers, and third-party auditors already recognize.

    • ISO 17025 for accreditation, calibration and reporting.
    • US EPA 3051A for microwave digestion of samples before subsequent analysis.
    • SS-EN ISO 17294 for ICP-MS analysis of water with multi-element determination.
    • NMKL methods for accredited Nordic analysis.

Initial calibration is performed against certified reference materials. Re-calibration is scheduled according to the agreed service plan plus the requirements of your accreditation programme.

    Common comparisons

Accredited environmental labs often compare our portfolio with Hach (colorimetry, online water analysis), Mettler Toledo (pH, titration, balances), Metrohm (ion chromatography, KF titration), Milestone and CEM (microwave digestion), and Tekran and PSA Millennium (mercury).

Labsense complements with NIC mercury analysers (MA-3000, RA-7000A, PE-1000) per EPA 7473, EN 1483, EN 12338 and EN 14884, Nittoseiko AQF/NSX for halogens and sulphur, Preekem microwave digestion per US EPA 3051A and Katanax fusion for XRF, all with Nordic service.
