    K2 Prime fluxer

    Automated fusion fluxer for fusion digestion of metal samples, slags and refractory materials prior to XRF or ICP analysis, reproducible between operators.

    Former model. The K2 Prime has been replaced by the Katanax X-series (X-100, X-300, X-600). We still service existing K2 Prime installations with spare parts and calibration. For a new investment, we recommend X-300 as the closest equivalent.

    Description

    The K2 Prime is a two-position gas-fired fluxer that produces beads and solutions with the highest possible reproducibility. Programmable cycles control temperature, agitation, and casting to ensure each bead has identical geometry and homogeneity.

    The design withstands continuous operation in industrial labs. Pt/graphite crucibles are interchangeable and compatible with all common lithium borate fluxes. For smelters, K2 Prime is a standard solution that makes fusion digestion a predictable part of the analysis chain.
