Guardian-HD is KPM Analytics' scanning NIR platform for web profiling in paper and board mills. The traversing measurement head delivers a continuous CD profile of moisture and coat weight across the full web width, providing the basis for stabilising cross-machine profile and reducing time losses during grade changes.

The system integrates with the mill-wide QCS and complements single-point gauges (MCT560) when cross-direction variations or coating applications require the full CD profile. The configuration is built to machine width, measurement frequency and the plant's existing control strategy.
